Brent River & Canal Society AGM – 19 September 2023

All Brent River & Canal Society members are warmly invited to our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 19th September. Come and find out more about our nature campaigns and current issues including Clean Up the River Brent, Warren Farm Nature Reserve and the Local Plan – all of which are busy safeguarding wildlife and keeping our beloved green and blue spaces healthy and open for our community to enjoy.

There will also be membership and accounts reports (the admin!) finishing with the exciting news that the date of our AGM also marks the 50th Anniversary of when the Brent River Park was formed by our founder Luke FitzHerbert. It will therefore mark the start of the celebration of the Brent River Park’s half-centenary. After the formal meeting there will be nibbles and drinks and a chance to spend time together.

Every green and blue space exists today because somebody thought to protect them and we are delighted to be officially relaunching our charity with our new website so that together we can long continue in Luke’s footsteps to ensure future generations get to experience and benefit from nature on their doorstep.

This year the AGM with be held at Open Ealing, 7.30pm – 10pm;
